Last week, OnePlus gave India a small hint — a new N-series phone, the N6x, is on its way. Now, the company has followed up with another teaser, this time offering a proper look at how the phone will actually look.
Colors, But Not Yet a Date
OnePlus still hasn’t announced when the N6x will actually launch in India. What it has confirmed, though, is that the phone will come in two color options — light blue and maroon. A date remains a mystery; the colors, apparently, did not.
Design That Breaks from the Last Model
The teaser also gives a glimpse of the phone’s design — a flat rear panel, paired with a flat frame. The camera module is pill-shaped, with an LED flash sitting right alongside it. That’s a clear departure from the OnePlus N6, which carried a square-shaped camera island.
It’s a small shift on paper, but design changes like this are rarely accidental — they usually signal that a company wants this model to feel visually distinct from its predecessor, not just a spec bump with the same face.
Tagline That Explains Nothing
OnePlus has paired all this with the tagline “Beyond what you x-pect.” What it actually means is anyone’s guess at this point — the company hasn’t explained it, and the teaser doesn’t clarify much either.
Which leaves us with the usual question that follows every teaser campaign — how much of this is genuine information, and how much is simply designed to keep people talking until the next teaser drops?
More details are expected from OnePlus in the coming days.
